If you don’t want to do the ‘wedding registry’- thing, then perhaps you can consider this: help the bride & groom’s wedding budget by giving them a homemade lovely and delicious Wedding Cake. This is an ideal gift for smaller wedding parties. The gigantic ones are better left to the pro’s I believe. But for small and even medium size weddings, this is doable.

The part I love the best is the one with all the tips of the trade on how to make professional icing and cake decorations.

Whether you are an advanced ‘chef’ or a novice like myself, you will want to practice this cake a couple of times before you are giving one away as a gift. It looks so delicious, I don’t see any problem with that.

Of course, this video is also of use if you want to make your own wedding cake. However, as a bride, the days leading up to your wedding you are bound to be very busy and making a cake under pressure, is never as much fun. Therefore, if you are keep to have a home made cake like this, ask a friend or a relative who is close to you and who has a knack for baking to take on this project for you. You as the bride could help, but let someone else take charge for making the cake.

OK. this is unusual, but I’m giving a bonus video, as I want you to make a fabulous cake out of it. I felt that this little video clip on how to make roses from icing would be an excellent addition to the main video. Again, the demonstration is clear and shows how easy it actually is, once you know how to make these roses.
